Living in the northwest or western suburbs means O’Hare is close on the map and far in practice. Thirty minutes on a good day, ninety when the Kennedy backs up, and either way you’re parking a car somewhere for the length of your trip. This guide covers what a suburb-to-airport ride actually costs with a flat-rate car service, how long to allow from the main suburbs, and how to book it so the only thing you think about at 5 AM is your coffee.
How Suburb-to-Airport Pricing Works
Ready to Ride prices every airport transfer as a flat rate. You enter your pickup address and the airport, the exact price appears before you confirm, and that number does not change because it’s raining, because it’s a holiday weekend, or because your flight got in late. A sedan from Arlington Heights to O’Hare starts from $126. Escalade and Navigator SUVs cost more, and the booking engine shows every vehicle’s price side by side so you can choose. Current rates for the most common routes are published in our Chicago limo prices guide.
Arlington Heights to O’Hare
This is our home base, so it’s the route our chauffeurs know best. Arlington Heights sits about 12 miles northwest of O’Hare. Allow 25 to 40 minutes door to door depending on the hour; morning rush on Route 53 and I-90 is the variable. For Midway, plan on 55 to 75 minutes via I-294 and I-55. Our Arlington Heights limo service page covers the neighborhoods and pickup points we serve.
Schaumburg to O’Hare
Schaumburg is roughly 15 miles from O’Hare along I-90, so most rides run 25 to 45 minutes. Woodfield-area hotels and the corporate parks around Meacham Road are frequent pickups, and early-morning departures are common enough that we run this route around the clock. See Schaumburg limo service for details.
Naperville to O’Hare and Midway
Naperville is the long haul of the three: about 30 miles to O’Hare via I-88 and I-294, so allow 45 to 70 minutes, and closer to Midway at 30 to 50 minutes. This is where flight tracking earns its keep, since a delayed inbound flight means your chauffeur adjusts rather than waiting on the clock. Our Naperville limo service page has the full picture.
What’s Included in Every Airport Transfer
Real-time flight tracking on every airport pickup, so your chauffeur meets you when you actually land. Meet-and-greet inside the terminal for arrivals if you want it. Help with luggage. A licensed, insured, professionally trained chauffeur in a current-model vehicle. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Tolls and parking are itemized separately if they apply, and there is never a surge charge.
Which Vehicle for an Airport Run
One or two travelers with normal luggage: a luxury sedan. A family or a group of three to six with bags: the Cadillac Escalade ESV or Lincoln Navigator, which have genuine cargo room. Larger groups traveling together, such as a team heading to a conference or a family with everyone in tow: the 14-passenger Sprinter. Child seats are available on request when you book, at $25 per seat, installed before pickup.
Booking Tips for Suburban Airport Rides
For a 5 or 6 AM departure, book the night before at the latest, and earlier during holiday weeks. For arrivals, give us your flight number rather than a guessed time and let the tracking do the work. If you’re returning late at night, book the return leg at the same time as the outbound so both are locked in at flat rates. And for O’Hare specifically, tell us your terminal; it changes the pickup point and saves you a walk.
